Intel® Anti-Theft Technology is a hardware-level of security which can disable a tablet PC if it is lost or stolen. The technology can be used with or without a connection to the Internet or a corporate network and helps to deter theft of information. Intel AT allows the tablet to recognize when a security threat is present and initiate lockdown procedures; effectively preventing access to secure data and use of the system.
